TradeMagellan, a global trade intelligence and customs data platform, is making shipment-level trade records that were long sold only to large corporations available to small and mid-sized exporters on a monthly subscription. Customs clearance records answer the question directly — who imported a given product, from which supplier, in what volume and how often — but the vendors that sell those records have typically priced them above $5,000 a year on locked annual contracts. TradeMagellan sells three tiers. Pro is $59 for the first month and $99 a month thereafter, with 200 company queries, 200 detail views and 200 exports a day, plus six-digit HS code search. Pro Plus is $129 for the first month and $149 thereafter, raising those allowances to 500 a day and adding eight-digit HS code search and unlimited local market analysis. Pro Max is $199 for the first month and $229 thereafter, with unlimited company queries, views, exports and bill-of-lading searches. Every TradeMagellan plan can be cancelled at any time, and a free account can be opened in about 15 seconds.

TradeMagellan subscribers report outcomes including sales volume increases of up to 230% and conversion improvements of up to six times after replacing cold outreach with customs-verified buyer targeting. Those figures are self-reported by customers and vary by industry, product category and sales process.
