Developers can now announce a finished project from their AI coding tools with Vokolla's press release agent

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Oct. 25, 2026 – Developers who build with AI tools can now announce a finished project from the same tools, using Vokolla's press release agent. The agent works inside AI assistants and code editors that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), including Claude, Cursor and Gemini, and helps turn a project into a press release checked against publishers' editorial requirements.
Consider a developer who has just finished a browser extension over a weekend with an AI coding assistant. The code is done, the store listing is live, and the next question is how anyone will hear about it. Until now, the answer usually meant leaving the editor, learning how press releases are written and finding a service to publish one.
With Vokolla connected, the developer can stay in the same conversation. The agent reads the project notes the developer provides, such as a README or a short description, and writes a release in a plain news style. It asks for the facts it needs, including a date, a location and a quote, instead of making them up, and it checks the result against publishers' editorial requirements before saving the draft to the developer's Vokolla account.
Each issue the agent finds is explained in plain language, and the developer can accept the suggested change or keep the original wording. Drafting and checking are available to any Vokolla account within an hourly and daily limit, and a release is only charged when it is submitted for publication.
The final steps happen on Vokolla. The developer chooses a publishing package, reviews the final version and pays; the conversation itself never places an order. Once the release is submitted, Vokolla sends an email at each stage and a final report with a link to every page where the release was published, and the assistant can report the release's status when asked.
The workflow suits launches that small teams make often: open-source projects, mobile and web apps, software updates, plugins and developer tools. Instructions for adding the connector are available on Vokolla's connector page, and creating an account is free.
"A lot of good software is never announced because the person who built it has no time or experience with press releases," said Richard Lee, founder of Vokolla. "If the assistant that helped write the code can also help write the announcement, more of that work will reach the people it was made for."
